6th Grade Science:
Monday: Assign two tree maps. One for Mechanical Weathering and another for Chemical Weathering.
Tuesday: Computer lab: Use "Inspiration" computer program to make a graphic organizer for both mechanical and chemical weathering.
Wednesday: Continue above
Thursday: Discuss "Inspiration" assignment. You-tube clips over weathering if time permits.
Friday: No school for students
7th Grade Science:
Monday: Lab: The Phenomenon of Sound
Tuesday: Lab: The Phenomenon of Sound continued
Wednesday: Lab: The Phenomenon of Sound discussion questions and wrap-up. Use slinky and rope to demonstrate wave types.
Thursday: You-tube clips over waves and energy (30 minute classes)
Friday: No students
