6th Grade:
Monday: Vocabulary review activity (cut and paste)
Tuesday: Computer Lab - Quizlet practice
Wednesday: Study Guide, Review earthquake location and plate boundaries
Thursday: Go over study guide and review vocabulary words
Friday: Unit Test over Layers of the Earth and Plate Tectonics
7th Grade:
Monday: Review previous two units over physical and chemical properties and chemical change
Tuesday: Pretest over Energy and Waves
Wednesday: Directed Reading activity over, "The Nature of Waves", pages 4-9 (Sound and Light book)
Thursday: Directed Reading activity over, "Properties of Waves", pages 10-13 (Sound and Light)
Friday: Lab: Use a rope to demonstrate (groups of 3): 1. larger amplitude (more energy), 2. shorter wavelength (more energy). 3. frequency (high and low). Complete a Frayer Model for each of the above comparing high energy and low energy.
