6th Grade Science:
Monday: Partner activity; "Using the Rock Record to Interpret Geologic History"
Tuesday: Finish above. Formative Quiz: "Rock History"
Wednesday: Read pages 74-79, Looking at Fossils, and complete Directed Reading in groups. Complete Section Review individually.
Thursday: Finish from Wednesday as needed. Quiz over section. Read pages 80-85 and complete Directed Reading in groups. Complete Section Review individually.
Friday: Finish assignment from Thursday. Continue vocabulary booklet for all words discussed.
7th Grade Science:
Monday: Finish water cycle diagram and definitions. Complete late/missing work.
Tuesday: Same as above for students gone for testing on Monday.
Wednesday: Water in the Air: 1. Read pages 38-45 using Holt text (Weather and Climate). 2. Double Bubble (Humidity and Relative Humidity) w/ partner (same number of circles as on wall). 3. Tree Map - Clouds (Cumulus, Stratus, Cirrus) w/ partner (5 items per each branch of tree).
Thursday: Discuss above answers as a class and make corrections/additions where needed. Continue above section and individually complete section review.
Friday: As a class discuss answers to section review. Bill Nye video: Water Cycle
I will be gone to 6th grade camp Wednesday - Friday
