Wednesday: Formative quiz: Reinforcement - Feel the Heat. Double Bubble Thinking Map comparing Thermal Insulator and Thermal Conductor, page 167, with partner from Tuesday.
Thursday: Textbook: Prentice-Hall: Building Blocks of the Universe. Read pages 34-37, worksheet Phases of Matter (with a partner) .
Friday: Assign Phases of Matter word sort for review.
7th Grade Science:
Monday: Continue activity from Friday: Characteristics of air masses in the United States. Begin next activity: Characteristics of frontal boundaries and how they interact with each other.
Tuesday: Finish from Monday as necessary. Complete activity: Characteristics and result of the jet stream. Discuss results of 3 activities.
Wednesday: Section Review: Air Masses and Fronts
Thursday: Lab: Biome Business
Friday: Standardized test preparation. Introduce "Weather Cycler".
