Monday: Vocabulary booklet (convection, conduction, radiation, atoms, molecules, states of matter, solid, liquid, gas, mass, transformation, heat transfer).
Tuesday: "What is Energy?" Read pages 124-131 and outline using Cornell Notes (with a partner).
Wednesday: "Energy Conversions" Read pages 132-137 and outline using Cornell Notes (with partner).
Thursday: Lab: Energy of Motion
Friday: Finish vocabulary booklet. (Law of Conservation of Energy, Potential Energy, Kinetic Energy, Mechanical Energy, Closed System, Energy Transfer)
7th Grade Science:
Monday: Introduce "Weather Cycler" and assign Activity 1
Tuesday: Activity 2 and 3
Wednesday: Activity 4 and 5 (Band concert conflict)
Thursday: Activity 6 and final discussion.
Friday: Standardized test practice
