6th Grade Science:
Monday: Snow Day
Tuesday: Snow Day
Wednesday: Correct/discuss/grade work from last week over different soil types and labs
Thursday: Cornell Notes for section 4, Soil Conservation (pgs. 48, 49). Explain/offer extra credit option (Two Persuasion posters: Soil Importance and Soil Damage and Loss - see handouts. 5 points each)
Friday: Have students make a "Layered Book" for section over Erosion and Deposition. Direct students to determine key points from pages 62-80 over erosion and deposition. Have them complete "layered book" to record information. Follow GRR with lesson.
Test over Soil, Weathering, and Erosion next week Thursday!
7th Grade Science:

Wednesday: Read "Fusing Energy" informational sheet and complete worksheet.
Thursday: Assign "Fusing Organization" using informational sheet from yesterday. Correct/discuss above for a grade.
Friday: Read page 100 (Interactions of Matter) and complete worksheet - Nuclear Fusion. Correct/discuss for a grade.
