6th Grade Science:
Monday: Symbiosis. Read pages 18-19. Tree map. Update vocabulary booklet (symbiosis, mutualism, commensalism, parasitism).
Tuesday: MEAP. No 3rd or 4th period due to MEAP. Power writing introduction and practice
Wednesday: MEAP. No 1st or 2nd period due to MEAP. Continue with power writing introduction and practice.
Thursday: Magic School Bus: Gets Eaten
Friday: Go over current grades and allow class time to finish late work and redo existing work that needs corrections (Ecosystem in a Bottle lab sheet)
7th Grade Science:
Monday: Review atom models. Drawing a model of an atom using colored pencils.
Tuesday: Finish atom models.
Wednesday: Zig Zag and periodic table
Thursday: Molecules: Handout and worksheet. Before and After reading activity. Include "think aloud" with instruction. Work with a partner.
Friday: Reviewed atoms and elements
